Phuket: 4nights, 4 days
Booked Activities:
Here all the links to the activities I booked during my trip!
Day 1: Bangkok
Welcome to Bangkok! Your first full day!
Morning: We started the morning heading to see the beautiful and iconic temples in Bangkok. Most of them are close to each other so its easy walk to each one back to back! Starting at Wat Phra Kaew, The Grand Palace, Wat Pho, & Wat Arun.
Evening: I definitely recommend doing a food tour for your first night in Bangkok! The tour was so much fun, going to 5 different food spots and driving through the lively city in a TukTuk! We had traditional thai dinner, mango sticky rice, delicious street food in chinatown, noodles at a Michelin Star restaurant, and drinks at a rooftop overlooking Wat Arun Temple!
Day 2: Railway & Floating Market
Morning: We headed to the meeting spot of our tour in Bangkok for the Railway and Floating markets! The drive was about an hour and a half outside of the Bangkok!
Afternoon: Once we arrived we got on the train to take us to Maeklong Railway Market. Then we were able to get off and shop and walk through the market directly on the tracks! It was such a fun experience watching the markets move all their things when a train was coming through.
Next, we headed to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and were able to buy food and souvenirs on the water!
Evening: We arrived back at our hotel around 4pm and relaxed after a fun and long day!
Day 3: Bangkok
Free day!
Morning: We grabbed delicious breakfast at Sala Rattanakosin, next to the pier with views of Wat Arun.
Afternoon: We went to Wat Pho Pier to take a riverboat to Icon Siam, Thailand’s best luxury mall. The ground floor was the best part with a floating market with lots of food, arts, crafts, and cute souvenirs.
Evening: Enjoy your last night in Bangkok at Rooftop Tichua!
Day 4: Chiang Mai
Time to head to Northern Thailand! Only an hour and half flight from Bangkok!
Morning: We headed to the airport early for our 10am flight and landed in Chiang Mai at 11:30am!
Afternoon: We checked in to our hotel and relaxed until we got picked up for our cooking class at 4pm!
Evening: Spend the evening cooking in the most beautiful open air kitchen surrounded by a beautiful garden at Zabb-e-lee cooking school. You get to cook your own appetizers, dinner, curry paste, and mango sticky rice!
Day 5: Chiang Mai Elephant Sanctuary
One of my favorite days from our trip!
Morning: We got picked up from our hotel at 9am and headed to our first stop, Mae Wong River, for bamboo rafting through the jungle!
Afternoon: For lunch we had a buffet style lunch provided before heading to the elephant sanctuary!
At the sanctuary we were able to learn so much about the elephants, feed them, walk through the forest with them, and bathe them in the river. After, we headed to the waterfalls for a quick swim. Definitely one of the most memorable experiences on my trip!
Evening: We were back at our hotel by 5pm and grabbed a quick dinner.
Day 6: Chiang Mai
Free city day!
Morning: Have breakfast at Fern Forest Cafe to enjoy a delicious meal in a beautiful outdoor space. Cafe was so good we ended up coming back the next day.
Afternoon: Walk around Old City and see some of the temples that Chiang Mai has to offer.
Evening: Every Sunday evening is the Sunday Night Market, the biggest night market in Chiang Mai. Starting at Tha Phae Gate on Ratchadamnoen Road you can find a sea of street food, local crafts, clothing, and endless souveniours. We enjoyed trying lots of foods and just walking around.
Day 7: Chiang Mai
Visit Dantewada(Angel Land), Blue Temple, and Sticky Waterfall. These were some of the most beautiful sights we saw in Thailand and definitely recommend.
Morning: We got picked up from our hotel at 8:30am to head to our first destination, Dantewada, Angel Land. This was a stunning man made waterfall park and colorful flower garden. We had the best tour guide that let us stay as long as we wanted before leaving to our next location.
For our next location we visited some of the most gorgeous Buddhist temples in Thailand (The Blue Temple in Chiang Mai). We were able to walk inside as many as we wanted and admire the most beautiful temples I ever seen.
Afternoon: For the final part of the tour we visited the Sticky Waterfalls, where we cooled down and enjoyed climbing the waterfalls and spending our time in the national park. The views at the top of the waterfall were absolutely stunning!
Evening: For our last night in Chiang Mai we couldn’t leave without going to a Muay Thai Fight at the Chiang Mai Boxing Stadium. A great end to our day!
Day 8: Phuket
Time to head to the beaches and relax! Only a 2 hour flight from Chiang Mai!
Morning: We enjoyed our last breakfast in Chiang Mai before heading to the airport for our 11:30am flight.
Afternoon: After 2 hours we landed in Phuket at 1:30pm. Phuket is the largest island in Thailand, with many places to visit and stay. We stayed at Arinara Beach Resort in Bang Tao, about 45 min drive from the airport.
Evening: We spent the rest of the day relaxing on the beach and enjoying our amazing resort!
Day 9: Phi Phi Islands
This day trip island hopping was definitely one of the highlights of our trip and a must when visiting Phuket!
Morning: Grab some Breakfast then head to the boat dock.
Afternoon: Enjoy a full day at sea in the Amalfi coast with breathtaking views. The tour we did was 6 hours and included sightseeing the route to Positano and the coast of Ravello, hidden caves, and natural arches. During the tour we got to stop for swimming, snorkeling and cliff jumping. For lunch we got to stop at a restaurant on the sea! Couldn’t have had a better experience!
Evening: Enjoy your final dinner in the beautiful town.
Day 10: Phuket
Morning: We enjoyed our morning with breakfast at the resort and of course fresh coconut water.
Afternoon: The resort we stayed at was stunning and had everything, with a pool and beach steps from each other. We spent all day at the beach and then the pool enjoying the beautiful sun and water!
Evening: At night we went to Bangla Road, Phuket’s famous chaotic nightlife strip, with loud music, bars, clubs, go-go dancers, and street food. We checked out a few bars that we were able to hear live music and dance and enjoy the night.
Day 11: Phuket
The final full day in Thailand!
Morning: Sadly, enjoyed our last breakfast at the beach resort and relaxed.
Afternoon: Walk around town and did our final day of souvenir shopping.
Evening: For the final night in Phuket we went to Maya beach club! The food was delicious and the venue was stunning! At night they perform a fire show on the beach. Definitely a good way to end our final day!
