In this post, I’m sharing the detailed itinerary from my quick 4 day journey. You’ll find a day-by-day breakdown of the places I visited and the highlights I loved to help you craft your own dream adventure.
Of course, Spain has so many incredible places to see, and while I wish I could have explored more, this itinerary was the perfect fit for my short time. Hopefully, it sparks some ideas and inspires your own unique trip to this beautiful city.

Day 1: Arrival and Tapas Delights
Morning: We landed in the morning, checked in to our hostel, and grabbed some food before heading out to start exploring!
Afternoon: Start by walking down La Rambla the most well known street in Central Barcelona. We strolled through Gothic Quarter, soaking in the medieval architecture, vibrant markets at Mercat de la Boqueria, and the lively atmosphere of Plaça Reial.
Evening: As the sun set, we embarked on a tapas walking tour, savoring delicious bites, local wines, and a taste of Barcelona’s culinary culture. Our tour guide was so fun and informative and we got to drink a lot while making new friends! A perfect start to the trip!
Day 2: Barcelona
Today was all about Gaudi’s Wonders, Sagrada Familia, and Flamenco Show!
Morning: Our day began with a visit to the iconic Casa Batlló, where Gaudí’s whimsical designs left us in awe. Next, we ventured to the Sagrada Familia, stepping inside this architectural marvel to admire its intricate details and stunning stained glass.
Afternoon: After going inside the Sagrada Familia, make your way to the Sercotel Rosellón rooftop for lunch, refreshing drinks, and breathtaking views of the city, including the Sagrada Familia.
Evening: The evening concluded with a lively Flamenco show at City Hall Theater! The dancing and music were amazing!
Day 3: Costa Brava Adventure
Morning: Woke up early to meet with our tour group at 9am and drove an hour and half to Costa Brava!
Afternoon: Once we arrived to the coast we went kayaking and snorkeling in the crystal-clear Mediterranean waters! After working up an appetite, we enjoyed a delicious three-course meal and explored the charming town of Tossa de Mar on our own. The blend of adventure and relaxation made this an unforgettable experience and highlight of my trip!
Evening: Headed back to Barcelona and relaxed!
Day 4: Park Güell
Morning: Started bright and early and explored Park Güell, wandering among colorful mosaics and lush gardens.
Afternoon: We then visited Casa Vicens, Gaudí’s first masterpiece, and marveled at its intricate designs and vibrant colors. Then we grabbed our final lunch in Barcelona’s city center.
Evening: Headed back to the airport as my trip comes to an end.
